netherportalcalc.com is a free nether portal calculator for Minecraft Java and Bedrock Edition. It converts Overworld and Nether coordinates, checks how portals link, counts obsidian and plans Nether travel.

How the calculators work
Everything runs in your browser. The tools follow the game’s rules: X and Z scale 1:8 (rounded down going into the Nether), Y is not scaled, and existing portals are found inside an edition-specific search area. Your saved portals stay in your browser.
Accuracy
The rules are checked against current Java and Bedrock versions. If a result does not match your game, please tell us your edition and version through the contact page.
